about Walker Clark
We are an international legal management consultancy, formed in 2002 by Norman Clark and Lisa M. Walker Johnson.
We have five people on our consulting team, based in the Americas, but serving clients worldwide.
Our mission is to help our clients to thrive and achieve growth that is rooted in their institutional culture and shared wealth of experience.
Our clients describe our services as diagnostic, holistic, highly-responsive, and always aimed at producing sustainable measurable results.
Because of the diverse professional and business backgrounds of our team, we bring a custom-blended multidisciplinary methodology to each client and each project. We focus on helping our clients find practical solutions to real problems, not academic theory or one-size-fits-all models.
-
Who are your clients?
Law firms seeking sustainable business and professional success in changing times…
We work exclusively with the legal profession and specialize in services to small and midsize law firms.
-
Where do you work?
Wherever our client needs us…
We go almost anywhere in the world to serve a client or to support a law society or bar association. In fact, we have served more small and midsize law firms in more countries than any other legal management consultancy.
-
How are you different from other consultants?
In at least seven ways…
Our clients tell us that we stand out from other consulting firms in seven ways. There is a straight line between each of these competitive advantages and the best possible results for our clients.
-
How do you set your fees?
To best meet our client’s needs and expectations…
We want every client to know exactly what a Walker Clark project, subscription, engagement, or relationship will cost — no fine print, hidden charges, or surprises.
-
Do you provide speakers for conferences?
Only when we believe that we can add genuine lasting value…
We offer this support pro bono to bar associations or law societies at no fee for on-line or videconference participation. If you prefer on-site participation, we request only a reasonable honorarium to cover our costs.
-
How do you protect client information?
With our (professional) lives…
Our firm's confidentiality policy is incorporated into the terms of our engagements with each client.
We manage all information, not already in the public domain, received from clients as confidential, even in the absence of any assertion of confidentiality, privilege, or proprietary interest by our client.
