Cecilia BarreroCecilia Barrero is Walker Clark's client service manager for South America and also advises Walker Clark clients on international marketing and business development. Her career as an attorney,and as a practice manager has included senior practice management and business development responsibilities for law firms in the Dominican Republic and Central America.
She has also served as the Executive Director of a highly successful regional law firm network. Immediately before joining Walker Clark, Ce was the regional manager of a new Central American law firm and, in that capacity, was instrumental in its growth and expansion to achieve top-of-the-market reputation for client service in only four years.
Cecilia Barrero is a graduate of the Universidad Cátolica Argentina and has a Masters Degree in International Relations from Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo. Her languages include English, Spanish, German, Portuguese, and French.
Ruthie CansizRuthie Cansiz is the Senior Editor of Walker Clark Editorial Services and also serves as Walker Clark's client service manager for Europe and the Middle East.
Ruthie Cansiz comes to Walker Clark, LLC with over 30 years administrative and management/consulting experience in the legal industry, 20 years of which were in Canada, the remainder of time being shared between her home in the US and Istanbul, Turkey.
Ruthie is also a highly trained account development executive with expertise in business-to-business development between highest-level executives of some of the largest companies in the world, who were seeking strategic liaison with other executives/corporations of like-interests.
Ruthie's editing experience includes two published books on legal issues, as well as law firm marketing communications and newsletters. She provides English editing services for one of the largest publishing houses in Turkey, which publishes Bloomberg Businessweek Turkey, Harvard Business Review Turkey, as well as inflight magazines for Turkish airlines.
She has also provided administrative and management consultation to the largest of the First Nations peoples in Canada, as well as to their private corporation, advising on restructuring of the administrative services and management duties, as well as implementation of her recommended improvements.

William C. Henderson, II
Bill Henderson is an experienced international lawyer and educator who specializes in international business strategy, legal management, and professional development in the legal profession. Based in Italy, Bill's primary geographic focus is with Walker Clark clients in Europe; but he also supports Walker Clark engagements worldwide.
Bill Henderson practices international law in Europe, where he also teaches university and graduate level courses in management and international business strategy. His professional experience includes management of an international legal services organization in the Asia-Pacific region, including Australia. He served a three-year term as the presiding judge of a geographically dispersed judicial circuit, while also presiding in major felony trials. His practice as an admiralty lawyer in an international U.S.-based firm included substantial responsibilities in the litigation of one of the largest insurance coverage cases ever to arise in the petroleum industry.
Bill's legal management experience also includes service as the deputy director of a civil litigation division in a large agency of the U.S. Federal government, supervising lawyers and cases throughout the United States and internationally.

Gerald J. Kirkpatrick
Jerry Kirkpatrick specializes in business development and delivery of legal services in North America and strategies for international business development and international negotiations in the Americas and Asia-Pacific region. As the founding partner of a Washington, D.C., area law firm, he also specializes in business development for small and midsize firms.
Jerry has more than 30 years experience as a trial lawyer, educator, and legal and policy advisor to senior-level government officials. He has served on the adjunct faculty of the National Law Center of George Washington University, and as academic director of a post-graduate training and professional development institution for U.S. government lawyers.
His experience as an international lawyer includes service on U.S. delegations to ministry-level international negotiations worldwide on subjects ranging from defense and security cooperation to law of the sea. Jerry has lived and practiced in Asia and has traveled extensively worldwide in the course of his legal and managerial career.
Jerry holds a Juris Doctor degree from the College of William and Mary and a Master of Laws degree (with highest honors) from George Washington University. He is a past chapter president of the Federal Bar Association and is a member of the International Bar Association.

Daniel E. Miller
Daniel E. Miller is a senior consultant for Walker Clark, LLC, and specializes in business strategy and related economic, political, and cultural issues in the legal markets of Europe, with particular experience in expertise in the Central European countries of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia. He is a member of the Walker Clark Central Europe Group.
As a professor of history at the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida, Dr. Miller teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Central European history as well as other aspects of Modern European history. He completed his BA in history and political science at the University of Pittsburgh, his MA at the University of Illinois, and his doctorate in 1989 at the University of Pittsburgh. He was a visiting scholar at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University, before joining the Department of History at the University of West Florida. He also has practical experience in advising U.S.-based lawyers concerning business development and client relations strategy in Central Europe.
Dr. Miller’s publications include Forging Political Compromise: Antonín Švehla and the Czechoslovak Republican Party (1918-1933), which deals with agrarian politics and democracy in Czechoslovakia between the two world wars. It appears in Czech translation as Antonín Švehla mistr kompromisu (Argo, 2001). He is the co-editor of a volume in Czech dealing with the history of agrarian movement in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and the author of numerous chapters, articles, reviews, and other works related to Slovak and Czech agricultural politics and other topics both in Czech and English. He currently is working on a monograph dealing with the creation of new agricultural settlements on the great estates during the land reform between the world wars in Czechoslovakia. He also is researching the historic antecedents of consensual democracy in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
Research and teaching frequently take Dr. Miller to over a dozen European countries, especially those in Central Europe.

Fernando Moreno is a principal of Walker Clark, LLC, with more than 12 years experience in management and marketing consultancy for professional services firms. He is based in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
By profession an economist, Fernando’s background includes 20 years in senior positions of marketing, operations, and business development in multinational corporations, working with operations in the Americas, Asia, and Australia. As a result, he has extensive experience in planning, execution and coordination of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and multi-country rollouts of new businesses, products and services.

Lisa’s professional background is as a counseling psychologist, with more than ten years experience in senior levels of business management and human resource development, especially in banking, and more than 15 years experience consulting to law firms and corporate and government legal departments worldwide.
Lisa Walker Johnson deals with some of the most difficult, complicated problems of legal practice management, performance, and leadership. She is an internationally acknowledged leader in the administration, interpretation, and application of psychological instruments, such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, to the management of change in the legal profession.
