Gerald J. Kirkpatrick
Jerry Kirkpatrick specializes in business
development and delivery of legal services in North America and strategies for
international business development and international negotiations in the
Americas and Asia-Pacific region. As the founding partner of a Washington,
D.C., area law firm, he also specializes in business development for small and
midsize firms.
Jerry has more than 30 years experience as a trial lawyer, educator, and legal and policy advisor to senior-level government officials. He has served on the adjunct faculty of the National Law Center of George Washington University, and as academic director of a post-graduate training and professional development institution for U.S. government lawyers.
His experience as an international lawyer includes service on U.S. delegations to ministry-level international negotiations worldwide on subjects ranging from defense and security cooperation to law of the sea. Jerry has lived and practiced in Asia and has traveled extensively worldwide in the course of his legal and managerial career.
Jerry holds a Juris Doctor degree from the College of William and Mary and a Master of Laws degree (with highest honors) from George Washington University. He is a past chapter president of the Federal Bar Association and is a member of the International Bar Association. His foreign language studies include Spanish, French and German
